We know that choosing the right 11 Plus tuition centre is an important decision. At Teachitright, we regularly run welcoming open sessions where you and your child can explore our learning environment, meet our expert tutors, and get a feel for what makes us one of the best 11+ tuition centres in the area.
Throughout the year, we offer free 11 Plus assessments to help you understand your child’s current level and identify the best ways we can support their preparation. We also provide free trial lessons, giving children the opportunity to experience our teaching approach first hand.
During your visit, you’ll be able to explore the materials used in our 11 Plus courses, meet our friendly team, and learn more about preparation for GL Assessment, Quest and FSCE exams. You’ll also find out about our mock exams and the targeted support we provide to help students prepare.

Our open sessions include a free assessment or trial lesson for your child. Whilst the children are participating in their assessment or trial lesson, one of our directors will deliver a presentation for parents covering the 11 Plus process, Q&A and our award-winning Teachitright approach to tuition and support.

What is an Open Session?
At our 11 Plus open sessions, our specialist will take you through the 11 Plus assessment process, and your child will have the option to take part in a free assessment or trial lesson. You’ll also get practical advice on:
- The full 11 Plus process, including how to register and which subjects are tested, depending on the exam board
- How to prepare for the 11 Plus at home, with useful tips and ideas
- An overview of our Year 4 and Year 5 11+ courses, including our teaching approach and success rates
Please note the assessment results are for your own information only, Teachitright does not have a pass mark in order for children to be accepted on to our course. The results are to be used as guidance to understand where your child’s ability is currently and how to support your child at home.
