Frequently Asked Questions

What does Teachitright offer?

Teachitright covers Maths and English at GCSE level and we have adapted our courses to ensure that we meet the changes in the new GCSE exam system.

How many children are in each class?

We have a maximum of 10 students in each GCSE class and this allows us the opportunity to identify each student’s areas for development and rapidly build an effective working relationship.

What are the fees for the 11+ course?

All of our GCSE lessons run for two hours per week, and a block of 6 lessons is £250 per block. If you would only like to book one subject this will cost £147.50. By booking both maths & English we offer a 15% discount.

Teachitright is currently running a promotion to offer the first block of lessons for only £250. This equates to £20 per hour, plus an additional £25 per block for course materials and resources. On average this is half the cost of private one to one tuition.

How do I enrol?

You will need to complete an enrolment form by clicking on our enrolment page and submitting an enrolment form. We will then contact you to confirm that a space has been reserved for you.

Do we provide regular assessments for our students?

Yes, on the fifth week of every six-week block we give a test to find out if progress has been made. Comprehensive feedback is given to both the parent and child to ensure the next steps are known.

Do we teach during the holidays?

All of our weekly classes run during school term time, but for those students who would like an extra boost, during the Easter and summer holiday periods we hold revision camps and mock exams.

What materials are provided?

We provide all necessary stationery items. All workbooks, practice papers, worksheets are given at the beginning of each six-week block.

What does my child need to bring with them?

Your child should bring their pencil case and their own, exam appropriate, calculator with them to the maths course. They are also welcome to bring a drink and nut-free snacks.

Is homework given each week?

Yes, we ensure homework is set each week and this will consolidate what question types were covered in the lesson. Recommendations on excellent websites and other activities which can enhance skills are always given.
