Our 11 Plus tuition is in full swing, with classes starting across the South East
The new academic year is officially underway at Teachitright, and we’re delighted to have welcomed so many pupils to their first lessons over the past few days.
Our weekend classes got off to a brilliant start at our centres in Colnbrook, Maidenhead, Reading, Windsor, High Wycombe and at our brand new location in Gerrards Cross. Lessons at our centres in Burnham, Ascot, Bisham and Slough followed on Monday and Tuesday, while sessions at our Marlow, Camberley and West Drayton centres begin later this week.
We were particularly excited to deliver our very first lessons from our new Slough centre at Cippenham School. It’s fantastic to be working in partnership with the school to host our weekly Year 4 and Year 5 sessions, welcoming not only pupils from Cippenham but also children from surrounding schools.
Exciting activities starting soon
It’s not just our centre lessons that are beginning. We’ve also launched a number of online activities to support our pupils throughout the week:

Homework club – Our online homework club started on Monday and Tuesday evening. These popular sessions give pupils a chance to complete their homework in a supportive environment, or drop in with questions.

Weekly quizzes – Our fun online quizzes return on Friday 3 October, with separate sessions for Year 4 and Year 5 pupils. A great way to revise and learn in a lively, interactive format.

Book club – On Sunday 5 October, our monthly online book club resumes. There’s no set reading list; instead, it’s all about sharing recommendations, discussing different genres, and encouraging a love of reading. We’ll also be publishing some new suggested reading lists very soon.

Behind the scenes, we’ve also been preparing something special: tutor biographies. These profiles highlight the experience and expertise of our team, so families can get to know the people supporting their child’s 11 Plus journey. We’ll continue to add more over the coming weeks, so do keep an eye on the website.
