Our Reading School mock exams provide the perfect opportunity for pupils in Year 5 to practise a realistic Reading School paper under authentic exam conditions. These mock exams focus on the Future Stories Community Enterprise (FSCE test), which is sat by pupils applying to Reading Boys in July. It consists of four papers: Adventure, Beacon, Compass and Discovery.
Papers are marked with an optical reader, just like the real test, and are sent back to pupils with detailed reports within three days of the mock exam date. A video will also be provided with the answers to the questions in the mock exam. Children are able to take a copy of the mock exam papers away with them for future practice, and they can keep their creative response made during the mock exam.
Our mock exams are delivered in large schools or classrooms, to create a similar environment to the actual Reading School exam day. They are invigilated by our fully trained and qualified teachers.
Teachitright will run multiple Reading School mock exams throughout the spring and summer of Year 5, so pupils have the opportunity to sit more than one mock exam and track their progress as the real test approaches. The papers sat at each of our mock exams will be different (named A to G). To ensure your child is sitting different papers at each mock exam, please only book each letter once.
